Mtech completed, atended friends marraige and and a quick planned Manali trip

After a lot many ups and down finally completed my mtech with a satisfactory final presentation on 10th may 2011 and with 8.0 cgpa. After some 15 days with my family, i went to atttend my college friend kapil marraige, first time i attended some north indian marraige, enjoyed the dance and food with friends on 4th july 2011. Well on next day evening left for manali with udai and vicky. Manali is some 590 km from delhi. Enjoying the cold winds in hot summer.

We started in the afternoon from our college, we are provided with a college bus which dropped us at ramleela maidan from where the marching started. There were many high profile people who were there with us, some of them are: kiran bedi(IPS), arvind kejriwal (IITian,IAS,RTI law designer), Ram jethmalani(famous lawyer), medha patkar(social activist-famous for her role in narmada bachao andolan) and many dignitaries from bankers to social activists and lawyers from all over the country were attending. We did march past from Ramleela maidan to Jantar Mantar around 2-3 Km.

Got selected in BEL-CRL ( Bharat Electronics Limited - Central Research Laboratory)

On 20th Jan 2011, I got placed in BEL-CRL through IIT placement cell, there were 5 interviewers, first they took a written exam, for us they had given following choices 1. Computer Science 2. Electronics.
For Electronics(which i chose) there were two sections:
1. Basic Electronics: Covers basics of engineering electronics subjects
overall 20 questions, fairly easy ones
2. In this section we had to choose 2 subjects out of 5 subjects:

a.DSP b.VLSI c.Electromagnetic theory d.Communications e.Computer Networks.

I chose communications and computer networks, communications paper consist of AC,DC(PCM) and Computer networks stressed on Data link layer and network layer and their protocols.

Then on second day, they took 1hr interview starting with personal details then asked on my resume and most of my specialization subjects they were interested in my branch i,e telecom technology (how a call routed in POTS, CODECS in GSM, SS7 protocol etc.) and my project.

Most PLC technologies limit themselves to one set of wires (for example, premises wiring), but some can cross between two levels (for example, both the distribution network and premises wiring). Typically the transformer prevents propagating the signal so multiple PLC technologies are bridged to form very large networks
